Recommendation of the VDH Scientific Advisory Board

In 2021, the VDH Scientific Advisory Board issued a recommendation on the use of ridgeless dogs in Rhodesian Ridgeback breeding.

Following the official publication of a study by Prof. Distl on the topic of Dermoid Sinus in 2022, the VDH Scientific Advisory Board looked at and analyzed the results of the study. The result: 
"The Scientific Advisory Board stands by its recommendation to integrate ridgeless dogs in breeding“.
